About Stawisha Dada
Stawisha Dada Women Group is a Christian-founded, women-led community organisation helping women and girls in Kenya build practical skills, confidence and new opportunities.
Who we are
At Stawisha Dada, we believe women grow stronger when they learn together, work together and support one another. What began as a desire to create practical opportunities has grown into a women-led organisation focused on useful skills, meaningful participation and community strength.
We are building a space where women and girls can gain confidence, develop hands-on abilities and take part in opportunities that help them move forward with dignity and purpose.
Our vision
A community where women and girls have the skills, confidence and opportunities to build better futures for themselves, their families and their communities.
Our mission
To support women and girls through practical skills training, enterprise opportunities, community support and partnerships that encourage participation, self-reliance and sustainable growth.
Our values
- Faith — Our work is rooted in Christian values and service.
- Integrity — We value honesty, responsibility and accountability.
- Unity — Women achieve more when they stand together.
- Empowerment — We help people grow in confidence and decision-making.
- Stewardship — We seek to use resources, opportunities and relationships wisely.
Our approach
We focus on real, practical support. Our work is hands-on, community-rooted and designed to help women and girls move from learning into production, income and confidence.
We believe sustainable growth happens when skills, enterprise and community support work together.
Our story
Stawisha Dada was formed to respond to a clear need: women and girls need practical opportunities, trusted community support and pathways that turn skill into real possibility.
Our Christian foundation shapes how we work — with faith, dignity, service and respect for every woman and girl we serve.
