OUR PROGRAMMES

Enterprise & Growth

Practical skills can open a path to income and independence. Stawisha Dada is building ways for women to apply what they learn through useful products, business knowledge and connections to markets.

From skill to product

Make useful work, one step at a time.

Tailoring and embroidery can be applied to clothing, school uniforms, bags, church garments and other practical products. Participants can build experience by practising, making products and learning from the process.

Production activities are developed in line with available equipment, materials, trainers and opportunities.

Building business skills

Enterprise learning can include planning, costing, pricing, record keeping, customer care, product presentation and promotion. These skills help participants make informed decisions as they explore self-employment or group enterprise.

  • Understand costs and set considered prices
  • Keep simple business and production records
  • Present products clearly and communicate with customers
  • Explore digital promotion and social media for business

Connecting with opportunity

Good work needs a route to customers.

Stawisha Dada aims to develop market connections and partnerships that can help women put their skills to practical use. The programme is growing gradually, with activities shaped by participant interests, resources and real opportunities.

Enterprise activities are developing. Participation, equipment and market opportunities depend on resources and partnerships available at the time.

PRACTISE → PRODUCE → PRESENT → CONNECT → GROW
