Our work brings together useful skills, saving, enterprise and community support.
Skills training
We provide practical training that can help women and girls gain skills they can use at home, in employment or in small businesses.
Current training includes tailoring and embroidery, with other practical skills to be developed as the group grows.
The group currently has three sewing machines and is working to increase its equipment and training capacity.
Women and girls
We create opportunities for women and girls to learn useful skills, participate in activities and improve their economic prospects.
Savings and enterprise
Members are encouraged to save regularly and manage their money responsibly. As the group grows, members can also work together on suitable income-generating activities and investments.
Community support
Where resources allow, the group supports members, families and community activities.
